Announcement of UPS Fashion Contest 2007 winners at MoMuLateNite Event

On 24th March 2007, over 400 guests attended the MoMuLateNite party in the lobby of ModeNatie in Antwerp. Nawal Mrabet was announced as the winner of the UPS Fashion Contest 2007 and she received 2,000€ for her creation “Don’t stress, call UPS”, which depicts a UPS delivery man who saves a designer just in time for a fashion show. Ti+hann and Sandro Faber were the runners up.

UPS and the Flanders Fashion Institute (FFI) presented young designers and graduates from Belgian fashion academies with the challenge of creating a fashion image that puts UPS in the spotlight by combining elements of the UPS universe with elements of their own universe and/or collection.

UPS Fashion Contest 2008-2009: Nine finalists are chosen

Nine finalists for the UPS Fashion Contest 2008 were chosen by the jury at the beginning of December 2008. The nine students, of which five are from the Haute Ecole Libre Mosane in Liège and four are from the Haute Ecole Francisco Ferrer in Brussels, were then asked to produce the uniform that they had designed. The winning design will be chosen by a combination of online voting by the general public as well as the jury. The winner will be announced in April 2009.

UPS joins forces with Bruno Antognini and three Belgian fashion schools to revamp the UPS uniform

Up-and-coming designers from three fashion schools across Belgium (Brussels, Ghent and Liège) have taken up the challenge to give their interpretation of the UPS uniform based on the theme: “UPS and technology”. At the same time, to show its support for young designers, the Belgian fashion house Bruno Antognini creates its own version of the uniform for women.
